Hull City Ladies announce that Nick Ireland (Reserves Team Manager) has left the club.
Nick Ireland said: “It comes with a great deal of sadness, that I have had to make the decision to step down as the Reserves Head Coach.
At this moment in time, there is a lot going on in my personal life that I can not give 100% to the team. I would like to thank all the players for putting their faith in me as a coach and I wish them all the best with their careers, I hope whoever comes in, in the summer has a strong impact on the team.
Lastly, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Danny Johnson and the Committee for giving me such an amazing opportunity this season and being given the pleasure of leading the girls out on a match day. It has been an honour and a privilege to have coached the reserves this season”.
All the best, Nick Ireland
Hull City Ladies Managing Director Danny Johnson said: We would like to also offer our thanks to Nick for his efforts over the last season which have been challenging for a number of reasons, including battling Covid 19 restrictions. During testing times, he has kept players morale high and secured some great wins. We would like to wish Nick all the best in future endeavours and welcome him down on match days in the future.
We will be advertising for the role of Reserves Team Manager in due course.
