In his post match interview Chris described the result as disappointing with the Tigresses ‘lacking the quality and decisiveness seen in previous weeks’. A slow first half from Hull City Ladies not creating many chances but looked a different team in the second half with many chances unfortunate for none of them to end up in the back of the Bradford net. Two woodwork hits in the second half 10 minutes apart Chris stated ‘ we could play the game time and time again and it wouldn’t end 1-0’. He further added ‘it wasn’t a terrible performance’ and seemed hopeful as he said the result was ‘not the end of the world’.
Turning all attention to next weekend with a massive game against Newcastle at the Dransfield Stadium. 5 games left of the season for the Tigresses, a big run of games with the rearranged fixture against Leeds United to be played on Thursday 13th April with a 7:45pm kick off. Last three games after that are Chroley at home, Barnsley at home and the last game of the season, Middlesbrough away.
