Hull City Ladies take on Chorley for their rearranged fixture from the week before, Hull City Ladies try to put an end to their 3 games without victory in the league.

Chorley are a place behind the Tigresses by 7 points behind having played one more game. A massive game for number 18, Amy Pollock who is set to play her last game for the Tigresses. The announcement of her departure from the club announced earlier on in the week, a video posted on the club Facebook page with Pol talking about her decision, her future, etc. Make sure you check out the Tigresses Facebook page to watch that.

Last Time Out

The teams last met on the 15th January with the result going the Tigresses way 2-0, goals coming from captain Ellie Tanser and Katie Thompson. A dominant display earlier on in the season, the scoreline could of been a few more.

In Chris Hames post match interview he describes the Tigresses performance as ‘really proud of the girls, that is as good of a performance as i’ve seen them put in’. Chorley being a top side who have challenged at the top end of the league for a good few years, a great result and keeping the clean sheet. A dominant game and the scoreline could be double that and unlucky to not score a couple more goals. Hull City Ladies try to take all 6 points in the two fixtures against Chorley.

Barnsley – 🟢

Durham – 🔴

The Tigresses in their recent 5 games have 1 win, a draw and 3 losses. A good result vs Chorley will build some momentum heading into the end of the season and into next season. Chorley with some great results recently securing victories against Leeds United and York but also losing 3 games in their last 5.

Both teams played Leeds United in their last game, the Tigresses started off very poorly being 5-0 down in 50 minutes, Hull City Ladies played some really good football in the last third of the game and scored 3 great goals but wasn’t enough to take anything from the game. Chorley managed to take all 3 points from Leeds United goals coming from Kerry Nickson, Jessica Gillin and Grace Foy.

One to Watch

Ellice Jackman was the be Tigresses Player Of The Match against Leeds and against Chorley is set to make a 200th game for the Tigresses. A poor performance from the entirety in the first half going into the break 4-0 down. A collection of Leeds United chances dealt with very well by Ellice Jackman and a great performance in the second half with a 3-1 victory in the second half and a much better performance in the second half unfortunate that the first half score line was too great to take anything from the game.
