Job Title: Intern Coaching position

Reports To: Manager

Role Purpose:

Hull City Ladies are looking for an ambitious individual who is passionate and committed to self development within a challenging and demanding environment. As a coach intern at Hull City Ladies you would be looking to experience and learn in a senior football environment, by supporting the senior coaching staff as they prepare the team each week for the challenges of competitive FAWNL football. 

This role would be well suited for someone with experience coaching youth/junior football with an eye on senior football coaching, or an ex-player transitioning into coaching.

We are looking for a person/coach who:

  • Is wanting to gain experience around senior women’s football in the FAWNL 
  • Learn and develop key skills in coaching senior players in the women’s game
  • Support the set up and delivery of senior squad training 
  • Shadow experienced staff
  • Broaden coaching experience and knowledge throughout the season

The right person will need to be able to commit to 2 training sessions a week (Tuesday and Thursday evenings) as well as game days (Sunday) throughout the season (August-May)

Acceptance on to the course you will be supported by our Director of Women’s and Girls football to develop key areas of your experience, as well as receive:

  • Review and performance meeting
  • An IDP on coach development
  • Feedback and support on session design, and delivery 
  • Hull City Ladies Training Kit
  • Access to the running of a senior squad
  • Opportunities to develop and add to CV
