A narrow defeat suffered at Bottesford for Hull City Ladies as Stoke recorded a 0-1 victory.
It was a strong start for the Tigresses as Shakala Brookes nearly put the home side one goal ahead in the 1st minute but her effort just went wide.
Shay had another effort 8 minutes later, fantastic work from the Tigresses as Brookes took a chance but her shot is just long and went over the cross bar.
A great shot from Hope Knight as she quickly gained possession at the half way line, moments before half-time but score remained goalless going into the break.
On the hour mark, Stoke broke the deadlock through Kivel, whose left-footed strike put the Potters’ ahead.
10 minutes later, Bracewell’s was called into action again as she swatted Knight’s long-range strike away from her goal.
Shannon Stamps nearly doubled the away side advantage in the closing stages of the competitive contest when she cannoned a dead ball against the Tigresses’ woodwork.
Hull responded to Stamps’ set piece with a clear-cut chance through Knight, though the attacker drilled her shot wide.
