We know Ben well having previously worked for us and I’m sure everyone will give him a warm welcome as he returns home.

This shows our intent on enhancing the great work being done in the seniors and to continue the development of out youth sections at the club.”

Ben Killingworth said: I am thrilled to be joining Hull City Ladies as the Senior Head Coach, Elite Talent Centre Manager and Player Development Lead. It is an honour to have been entrusted with such influential roles for a club that is important to me both personally and professionally and to make a difference in the women’s game within my hometown.

I have a strong background in player development both within the UK and internationally and bring with me over a decade of experience, across both the senior and youth sides of the game. I am passionate about creating the best possible pathway for players within the region to thrive, develop their love for football and have prospering careers within the women’s game.

It has been amazing to see the progress of both the senior and youth sides of the club over the last two years and I am excited to build on the foundations which have been set to make our club pathway the best for aspiring young players in the region.

I look forward to meeting the players, parents and staff over the coming weeks and getting to know you all, as we work together to build a strong, local presence within the women’s game.”
