New medical team confirmed

We are delighted to confirm the constitution of our new medical team for 2025/26, working across the senior and pathway

Jon Bull has joined the club from York City Ladies, taking on the role of Sports Therapist. Jon will work primarily with the First Team squad across the week and match days, overseeing player post game recovery and rehabilitation from injury. Jon is undertaking a masters degree at York University

Joining Jon with the first team is Jamie-Leigh Robinson, who rejoins the club after a period of maternity leave last season. Jamie spent the 2023-24 title winning season with us, and returns as a valuable member of the team, working closely with the first team for training and match day prep. Further to this, Jamie will oversee the pathway as our medical lead

Finally, we welcome Josh Thorpe to the club as Physical Performance coach for the first team. Josh will focus primarily on Strength and Conditioning programmes, as well as prep and post game recovery, ensuring the team is fit, strong and organised as they attack the challenges this season

All of this is of course in addition to last weeks announcement that Keith Warner will work with the club in a consultancy and advisory role to ensure that the best assessment and return to play environment is created for the players.
