Hull City Ladies are delighted to confirm their 5th summer signing, securing the services of experienced defender Jessica Tugby-Andrew from Doncaster Rovers Belles
Jess has makes the move to East Yorkshire having spent the last 5 seasons captaining the Belles, making 109 appearances and scoring an incredible 30 goals from her position at Centre Back.
A commanding centre back, Jess offers incredible experience, and leadership in to the side as we look to secure another positive season at Tier 3
On her move to the Tigresses manager Chris Hames had this to say
I am delighted, over the moon to bring Jess to the club. She is a leader, very much in her actions on and off the pitch, and someone that compliments what we are building excellently. Jess Tugby-Andrew:
I was drawn to the club because of the goals and ambitions the club sets. That and the people who are already involved from the players to the coaches – it has been a great atmosphere and a positive environment to be a part of.
I aim to always give 110% to the team in training and on a game day. Personally I always want to learn more about the game and I always want to try and inspire the younger generation.
I am looking forward to getting to know the fans, being a part of the club’s next chapter and hopefully challenging for a high finish in the league
