In the 6th outing off the season, Hull City Ladies slipped to their first seat at the hands of Liverpool Feds
In a first half of very little action in either box, the Tigresses took the lead – Hope Knight lofting an effort in over the visiting goalkeeper – from all of 35 yards on the 3oth minute
The second half followed a similar path – City were very much on the defensive throughout, with moments of some adventure forward. Feds however had control throughout, moving the ball well out and through, and starting to apply much more pressure on Wallace
Three big saved were forced on the City No.1, one from a well taken free kick and another two from excellent strikes from each side of the box
It was on 63 that Feds regained parity – the Liverpool side exploited space on the City left, before driving in field – the first effort was blocked, before Katie Anderson hammered in at the near post with her left foot
City perhaps should have had a penalty just minutes later – Knight pinched the ball deep in the Feds box before being brought down from behind but the call never came
Liverpool then pressed home their dominance. A cross from the right was bundled in to the Tigresses net on 66 before Hamill was the unfortunate victim of an excellent delivery that clipped off the defenders head and over Wallace at the far post just 4 minutes later
