Joel Drewery Appointed First Team Manager!🐯
Hull City Ladies are delighted to announce the appointment of Joel Drewery as our new First Team Manager.
Following a thorough recruitment process, which included receiving applications and interviewing a number of candidates, the club is pleased to confirm Joel as the successful applicant. Having already spent the past couple of seasons as part of the First Team coaching staff and more recently serving as Interim First Team Manager, Joel demonstrated throughout the process that he is the right person to lead the team into its next chapter.
Joel has played an integral role in the development of the First Team and has also been instrumental in helping to develop our Youth Training Programme, reflecting his commitment to the long-term future of the club.
As a proud Hull lad, Joel’s passion extends far beyond the football pitch. His love for Hull City Ladies, the city itself, and the continued development of football across our region is evident in everything he does. He is fully invested in helping the club grow and ensuring opportunities continue to be created for players of all ages.
With women’s football continuing to go from strength to strength, Joel is excited to take on the role with fresh energy, new ideas, and a clear vision for the future. Following his spell as Interim First Team Manager, pre-season is already well underway, and the atmosphere around training has been full of energy, positivity, and enthusiasm.
