Job Title: ETC Centre Manager

Reports To: Directors/Committee

Hours: 4-6 hours per week

Salary: Competitive

Hull City Ladies FC are further strengthening the Hull City Ladies Girls Development Pathway and are recruiting for an Emerging Talent Centre (ETC) Centre Manager & ETC Player Development Lead.

These are two different roles, but a suitable person with the required skills, knowledge and experience can undertake both roles.

Role Purpose:
• Ensure the ETC environment is safe, appropriate and meets the needs of the players, staff and The FA.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the ETC while enabling coaches to deliver a positive experience to be proud of and attractive to players and parents/carers.
• Ensure the ETC is run within budget and meets the FA’s ETC licence criteria.
• Be an advocate and guardian of the women’s game.

Key Accountabilities:
Specific Duties
• Oversee operations so that coaching and other events run smoothly.
• Liaise closely with facilities providers so that sessions and events are well-planned, and the necessary equipment is ready.
• Ensure centre logistics are effective and efficient, and communicated to players, parents/carers, and staff. Ensure any changes are communicated quickly.
• Think ahead to pre-empt what might get in the way of effective delivery and manage the situation proactively.
• Deal promptly and efficiently with any issues which could impact on the smooth delivery of ETC activity.
• Have a deep and detailed knowledge of the FA ETC licence criteria and the ETC’s ongoing adherence to them.
• Oversee the delivery of any necessary actions to ensure ongoing compliance to FA requirements and auditing.
• Produce documentation & reports as requested by FA. Job Title:
• Plan and monitor season-by-season budget.
• As primary contact for the FA, represent the ETC at relevant meetings and positively question & challenge.
• Work collaboratively with other key external football stakeholders (e.g., County FA, Local competitive and community clubs, academies, and schools).
• Establish, develop, and maintain good working relationships with parents/carers.
• Develop a productive and trusting relationship with facilities and ETC partners so that service provision is seamless.
• Work well with other ETCs; share best practice and ideas Seek feedback from others, and reflect on personal behaviour and performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Create and maintain a personalised Development Action Plan (DAP), taking input and feedback from a variety of sources.
• Review personal competencies against job specification and identify areas for improvement.
• Attend CPD events and undertake CPD activities in line with identified development themes.
• Work with an advisor or mentor from outside the ETC.

Experience and Knowledge
• Passion for women’s football and sport
• Experience of administrative management. This may or may not have been gained within football or other professional sports related field Experience of setting and managing budgets
• Project management experience
• An up to date understanding of Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures Knowledge of The FA’s Girls Talent Development structure and pathway Experience of managing and leading groups of people
• Knowledge and awareness of diversity and equality challenges in football.

• FA Safeguarding Children
• FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid In Football (IFAIF) or FA Emergency First Aid
