Hull City Ladies are delighted to announce the appointments of Chris Peachey and Mike as Hull City Ladies FC Girls Emerging Talent Centre Centre Managers!
Chris and Mike have been excellent in the interim of Ben Killingsworth being away and leaving the club. Both have shown outstanding enthusiasm, work ethic and leadership and we are pleased to announce that both will take care of the Tigresses Development Pathway.
Chris Peachey has a proven track record of enhancing player development as well as great organisational skills, Mike Welsh has a high calibre of developing players and experience with both having excellent knowledge of Girls football in our region and expertise within youth football developed during his time as a coach within the British Army.
Chris and Mike’s roles will see them take over from Ben Killingsworth as the leads for Girls Development Pathway and will manage and lead the ETC, Development Centres and Youth Programmes. Chris will have further focus on U8’s-U12’s, with Mike’s focus area on U13’s-U16’s.
Hull City Ladies FC have very exciting plans to further enhance the Girls Development Pathway and further plans to transform youth football in our region. Keep your eyes peeled for further news regarding major changes to our pathway.
Chris Peachey said: “I am really excited to be back at the club and put my own ideas into the ETC and working alongside Mike it will be a good partnership long term going forward.
We have some exciting ideas to take Girls Football in the area forward with a good games program and enhance the ETC and talent pathway going forward. There are some great footballing talent in the area. We would like to keep that talent and keep them in Hull with Hull City Ladies and provide that pathway from U8’s to the first team.”
Mike Welsh said: “I am very excited to be undertaking this role within the club and alongside Chris we will strive to enhance the opportunity for the girls within our current pathway and beyond. Our region is filled with an abundance of talented girls and our ambition is to provide a pathway which improves this talent as individuals but also challenges the girls competitively, so they are ready for senior football within the Women’s National League in the future”.
