Darcie Sugden-Brook returns!!

Hull City Ladies are delighted to announce the signing of Darcie Sugden-Brook from fellow FAWNL Northern Premier side Middlesbrough

Darcie rejoins the club ahead of the 2025/26 season having spent the last 6 months at Middlesbrough where she helped the side lift the Tier 4 title on the final day of the season

Darcie previously came through the RTC system at York City before signing for Sheffield United and later Blackburn Rovers

Having spent two previous loan spells at the Tigresses, Darcie is no stranger to the fans and is looking forward to re-engaging with the squad

“It feels so good to join back at this club, I absolutely love it [here]. The goals and values of the club really drew me back here, the staff and the girls are all absolutely amazing.

The last few months have been tough but I’m really glad to be back in a Hull shirt and really show everyone what our team is about. We have  got such a strong capable group that can really kick on this season. I’m looking forward to playing games again and showcasing what I can do as a player

First Team Manager, Chris Hames, also gave his thoughts on Darcie’s return to the Tigresses

“I’m delighted to welcome Darcie back the club. She’s been through a lot in such a short career, and now it is our turn to help support her, and show her the love she needs to really flourish. I have no doubt on Darcie’s ability to kick on and succeed at this level for us: she is a quick, dynamic and relentless player, and that fit our profile and character perfectly

It is of course on her now to get her head down and be ready to fly in to the season”
