Hull City Ladies are delighted to announce that a new 3 year ETC licence has been granted as part of the clubs youth pathway
The Emerging Talent Centres (ETC) are recognised pathway’s for clubs to identify and develop talent across the country. Just 72 licences are granted each year, for clubs in the top 4 tiers of the women’s game, marking an important step in the clubs continued investment in to youth development in Hull and the East Riding
HCL have operated a licence for the last three years, but with the increasing demands on the game and the continued stringent testing, this marks a major step for the club
The ETC will act as a development and talent hub for talented young players in Hull and the East Riding. It allows players to remain with their grassroots clubs whilst also giving further access to high level coaching, and environments otherwise closed to a majority.
Operating at U9, U10, U11 and U12 age groups, the ETC will develop good footballers and prepare them to progress in to the new club funded academy at U13, U14 and U16 level where players will compete for the club at a competitive level
Trails will be held for the ETC, and dates and opportunities to register will be made public in due course
