The 2025/26 FAWNL Northern premier fixtures have been released, with the Tigresses learning how the seasons landscape starts to unfold
The season will start at our new home, the Versa Sportswear Stadium in Ferriby, on Sunday 17th August against experienced FAWNL side Halifax Women, in what will prove to be an important match up on game week one
This then follow two further home fixtures in the opening five, as the Tigresses also welcome Liverpool Feds and Wolves to the East of Yorkshire, whilst making trips across to WBA and Stoke City. A spell of fixtures that sees us play two of last season’s top three sides
Newly promoted sides Loughborough Lightning and Middlesbrough are our opponents on 30th October and 16th November respectively
In an mirror of last season, the season closes against Rugby Borough, with City this time having to make our furthest trip of the season on the closing day
In addition to the league fixtures, the FAWNL cup will follow a different format for the new season, with each side entered in to a group to determine the entrants for the Cup or Plate. The fixtures for these are interspersed through the opening stages of the season, then with the 1st knockout round to commence in mid-october
Donny Belles, Barnsley Women and Sheffield United PGA are our opponents in Group S of the competition
All tier 3 clubs will enter the Adobe Women’s FA Cup in the first round on Sunday 26th October, with the draw for that made after the last qualifying round 3 weeks prior
